Thinking outloud

I have found that all things that involve the Lord work in a circle...
At church we are learning about the water=word of God; wine=joy. When Jesus was at the wedding and his mother came to him saying they had run out of wine, he told the servants to fill the clay pots (6 of them, 6 being the number of man) with water. Our pastor spoke on this and as he was speaking I saw the relevance of the 6 pots being man, filling them with water (word of God), then water when brought before the Master (the Lord, God) turned into wine (joy). (John 2)
God's joy is so unspeakable... you feel His glory in such an amazing and fulfilling way that you can not describe it. Those who have felt it only understand it. (John 15:11)
Okay...okay I can describe it. It's like walking through a fire and not being burned, you feel the heat and you may sweat a bit but you are unharmed.
Oh, don't get me wrong there are things and days when I feel the burn, the sting... does that mean that I don't have faith in God?
No, I can tell you during those times IF I had lost sight of what was true, just and honorable, the faith in my Lord then I quickly turned to Him and He didn't scold me he just walked me through it, yet again.
When I am walking with His word in me, made fresh everyday...knowing it, reading it, repeating it, then I am full of His word, and when I go to Him, not just know it but go to the Lord (Master) he turns it to joy. A couple at our church taught on the subject..."Real faith produces joy" is one thing they mentioned. But what got to me even more was when they said, "If you find contentment in Christ & abound in the joy of the Lord (full of the word, approaching God) you will walk in joy in through the good & the bad."
If we are walking in joy it is like an armor, like super natural powers, that keep us untouchable if you will. The enemy will be shooting arrows that will come straight at us but when they reach our body they will fall to the ground with a dull point.
